Even better, though, is this video: a seven-minute lesson French lesson in which a teacher named Jacqueline explains clearly how the numbers work, emphasizing patterns and similarities, moving the cards on her white board around to show how to form the numbers.
Here's a goofy animated video by Alain Le Lait that will help you memorize the numbers 1-20 (though you may never have the same opinion of earthworms again):
