1.  Read "La vraie vie de Jules César" aloud several times.
2.  Complete the Caesar/Cleopatra worksheet.
3.  Practice the alphabet and recent vocabulary by playing "Le pendu" (Hangman).
4.  Reread page 38 and explain to your dad in your own words what "subject pronouns" and "infinitives" are and what it means to "conjugate verbs."
5.  Chant the conjugation of "être" at least five times a day!  (Use the sound file I will email your dad.)

2.  Finish filling out the Jules César vocabulary charts.

1.  Geography: Label the world map with the corresponding French vocabulary terms (from the geo vocab chart), and also add in some mountains, deserts, and rivers.  Read the Wikipedia handout on French geography (in English).

2.  Vocabulary/grammar: Do exercises A, C, and E (photocopied workbook pages).

3.  "La vraie vie de Jules Cesar": Read (and reread) the text, complete the vocab chart, and put the sentences in order.

4.  Booklet: Complete as many more "all about me" pages as you wish.


5.  "Spot It": Make flashcards with the vocabulary words for this game, ideally with a picture on one side and the word in French on the other.

6.  Continue practicing the following, ideally once every day while you're on traveling:

• Roule Galette script
• Counting 1-100 in French
• Saying the French alphabet
• Telling time
• "Spot It" flashcards

1.  Revise the last scene of "Roule galette."  Add more details that reveal information about the two characters.  If you don't know how to say something in French, just take notes in English and we'll work on it together next week.

2.  Complete the "Me voici" worksheet.

3.  Read the handout about telling time in French.

4.  Keep practicing the alphabet with the online games and videos

5.  And, as always, practice reading RG aloud!

Practice your listening comprehension and improve your pronunciation with these online French alphabet activities:

Alphabetical order: Choose a category, click on a word to hear it pronounced, and drag-and-drop it to reorder the words alphabetically.

Matching game: Turn over the cards to match the word (spoken aloud) with the picture.  (This will also teach new vocabulary and reinforce words you already know.)

Spelling game: Click on a category, listen to the speaker read the word, then drag and drop the letters in order to spell the word.  The speaker can say each letter name multiple times.
